This course has been developed, taking into account the requirements of Improve -the Sector Skills Council for the food and drink manufacturing industry, to ensure that qualifications meet the needs of employers.
For: All staff working in food manufacturing. This course gives learners a basic awareness of good hygiene and safety issues and meets food industry recommendations, with reference to employees preparing, cooking and handling food in manufacturing settings.
Aim: To encourage all food handlers to be aware of the hazards to food safety within their workplace and how they can be controlled and encourage good hygiene practice.
